Geraldine Larrosa (Innocence) is a captivating artist from Madrid currently acting as the character of Ines of the acclaimed musical "Zorro" in the theaters at the Foiles Bergere in Paris. Larrosa has participated in other successful stage productions and even in films for the big screen.

No quiero que me digas adios and Es Caro amar were exclusively composed for Innocence by the american composer Diane Warren, who composed number one songs in the international sales charts for artists such as Christina Aguilera, Bon Jovi, Celine Dion, Cher and others.

Amor de Angel is not simply an album of versions, provide us personalized arragements specially for this artist from Madrid who overflows her own character and give us a sight with her stunning performances.


Impressive sound

To be right with Innocence´s style was necesary an exacting sound quality. This is achieved by the sound engineer Alberto Quintero in the Tonopro Music Studios in Barcelona. It does giving a special attention to percussion but keeping the course and presence pf the powerful voice of Innocence, dominant and clear. The Bratislava Symphony Orchesta creates a musical atmosphere of luxury and demostrates us to be able to play the role of professional polyvalent musicians, masters in lyrics and also in the pop business.

The final touches of mastering were made by Oscar Clavel in Bahia Estudios (Madrid), with excellent results, as we have seen in the copy provided to us.

Innocence undoubtedly "is not completely innocent", she proves to be a tough character and yet sexy, perfect for her perdormances in the stage and photo shoots. We see in her an attainable artist, with character and captivates us with her glance and her music.

Geraldine Larrosa no para un momento - con Zorro, un musical que protagoniza en la cartelera de París con enorme éxito, la artista se embarca en un nuevo trabajo discográfico, Amor de Ángel, su segundo título como Innocence que ha venido a presentar a España estos días.
A partir de hoy se pone a la venta este nuevo álbum de Innocence donde se mezcla su estilo característico con el dance, con arreglos de Javier Losada y adaptación de letras de Zenón Recalde. De Amor de Ángel y de su trabajo nos habló la imparable actriz y cantante para Palco5.com.




Tu nuevo album lleva por título Amor de Ángel. ¿Cuál es la historia detrás de este título?

Amor de Angel es un poco el ambiente que he tenido con mis amigos, que han creído en esta historia, con todo el equipo, con Javier Losada por los arreglos,... Son mis ángeles protectores, toda la gente que ha creído en Innocence.

En el CD se nota tu trabajo en musicales. Las adaptaciones son de Zenón Recalde y el duo que tienes es con Edu del Prado. Háblanos de estas colaboraciones.

Zenón Recalde, como ya adaptó las letras de High School Musical, le pregunté que si quería adaptar los temas de Innocence y me dijo que sí. Fue un orgullo y un honor que estuviera ahí y fue una suerte porque así podía pedirle que las rimas acabaran en a o en e, que es más fácil para los cantantes (risas).

Con Edu tenía muchas ganas de cantar. El tema habla de razas, de las raices, y él era perfecto para ese tema. Lo ha cantado fenomenal.



¿Cómo ha evolucionado Innocence desde el primer álbum?

Sigue teniendo su propio sello, el pop rock sinfónico. Sigo haciendo mi música, sigo teniendo los problemas de no entrar dentro del mercado comercial, pero gracias al público que realmente me está ayudando. Soy una artista muy tranquila, no vendo nada, pero tengo mi propio público que creo que es importante. En este nuevo álbum, seguiré con los coros, la orquesta sinfónica de Bratislava, la banda de rock, y un lado un poco dance, para poder bailar más.



¿Cómo has visto la respuesta al video de Call me?

Yo cree que a la gente le ha entusiasmado, sobre todo también por el trabajo de Ruben Darío, director de imagen. La gente está muy positiva y es un alivio ver que Innocence sigue ahí gracias a mi público.

¿Para cuando podremos ver a Innocence en vivo con este nuevo trabajo?

Estamos intentando hacerlo este verano, en unas galas, y con un poco suerte intentaremos sacarlo en Turquia, Grecia, entre otros. Será el formato de siempre, en teatro, pero se puede adaptar.

¿Cuáles son tus temas favoritos de Amor de Ángel?

Obviamente todos, porque los que están ahí son los que he elegido, pero 'Call me' me gusta mucho, 'Don't Give Up' o 'A Woman's Work'.

El tema 'Es Caro Amar', de Diane Warren es especialmente importante para mi porque es original, y porque ella es una de las compositoras más importantes hoy en dia. Ha compuesto para Toni Braxton, Celine Dion, Aerosmith,... Además tiene una versatilidad importante, le gustó mi voz y compuso dos canciones para mi. El resto de temas es porque me marcaron en mi infancia: Duran Duran, Madonna...

Un nuevo CD y un musical en cartel en París. ¿Continuarás con el Zorro ahora que empiezas la promoción del disco?

Si hasta Junio. En Junio terminamos y me dedicaré en pleno a Innocence.

Después de trabajar en musicales en España, ¿qué puedes decir de la manera en que se trabaja en las producciones de la capital francesa?

Estoy encantada con la producción de Stage en París. Son maravillosos, muy buena gente, están apoyandome todo el tiempo. El director residente es muy bueno, los artistas son maravillosos... Hay muy buen ambiente, son una gente estupenda.

¿Habrá alguna posibilidad de verte en algún nuevo musical en España?

¿Por qué no? Mi vida y mi carrera seguirá siendo en España. Aunque haga varios meses fuera de aquí, mi vida es Madrid y España. Si me ofrecen otro musical me gustaría, porque también es parte de mi carrera.

You and Carlos decided to divorce one year ago, but you are still working together, how do you handle this?
