Hello Ladies,
I just came back from Stuttgart and what can I say?! I am in love with the gents. They are wonderful, amazing and their show is overwhelming.
Sorry, I don't find the right words for the joy they brought to me.
I was sitting in the first row and at the beginning of the show I thought I can't see anything else but the orchestra.
But noooooo......Urs was most of the time right in front of me....about 1,5 m away!!!!Jipiiiihhh
!!!!! My heart was beating extremly loud and I was afraid the people around me could hear it
Then they sang 'Somewhere' and said goodbye and everyone stood up and asked if that's really the end of the concert. The people from the rows behind came up to the stage and of course the gents came back!!!
At the definitive end.....you all know it.....they throw their roses into the audience.....guess who got the rose from Urs......
!!!!!
I am so happy not at least because it was my first Il Divo-concert. But there is a little bit of disappointment: my camera didn't work as it should   !! So my pics are all blurred!! Sorry for that!!!!
Okay, this was my short report. I hope you understand my bad English. I am even sorry for that.
Good night or good morning.....whatever!!!
Greetings Canada

Hi everyone,
just got back home to Munich from a really fabulous concert in Stuttgart. Seb´s "Libre" guided me way back home in my frenchie car through the night
Never thought I would drive 250 kilometers one way for a concert
It was a spontanoulsy decision going to Stuttgart today in the morning; and I´m really glad that I´ve done it.
The concert was so amazing, the guys seemed to enjoy themselves so much, the audience was great (much much better than in Munich - shame on you again Munich :? ). And Seb you can´t imaging how happy you made this little girl you gave your rose to!!!!! (Seb told them to pass the rose to a little girl sitting on someone´s shoulder - you´re so cute Seb !!! ) This was my third concert and with everyone I´m more and more really deeply impressed about the guys and their powerful voices. I´m always so keen during the concert, don´t want to miss a thing and at the end of the concert I forgot everything and can´t remember the songs they were playing  And I can´t get enough
the concert ist over way too soon -why can´t you add a few more songs, guys ????? "Por ti sere" for example !!!
Sorry, I´ve taken no pictures - just was sitting there absolutely speechless (once again  ).
And now I´m looking forward to Vienna (my last one for a long long time  )
Sorry for writing not more, but what else can I say than Seb, David, Carlos and Urs - you´re the best and thanks for giving your music to us !!!!

Hi Dot,
I had to come back. You're so nice...you words really cheer me up....thank you.
I'm still in seventh heaven and can't concentrate on other things than the last evening. I can not believe that I saw Il Divo life. But the best of all (except getting Urs's rose) my brother gave me tickets for the summernights in Cardiff on the 15th of July.....he said that this is my birthday present (although my birthday is on the 10th of July)! Isn't he the brother you can have?!?!?
Okay, now I have to work a little bit......! And I hope that someone posts a few pics from the concert.
Have a nice day!!!
Greetings Canada

Here is my report from Stuttgart!!!
I don't can tell you news about the concert! It was really better than munich, the audience was more open - minded (i hope this is the right word, sorry).
Sadly i have had a very bad seat, First row but i didn't saw the guys good. Only Urs sometimes, when he come total on the right side from the stage. But Carlos was more than 100 kilometers away from me (sorry i know i'm overplay - but for me it seems like a so long distance). That's why my pictures are not good - sorry!!!!
But here i will tell you something funny things about our trip in Stuttgart. I was the best 2 days i ever had.
We arrived Stuttgart on Tuesday afternoon. We all was still tired from Munich but in a very good especial mood!!! We took the underground to drive to our hotel. By our station we didn't know where we must go.   I saw a stage with 3 mens on it and i want to say: "Hello where must we go?" - but than i saw that this 3 "men" are 3 "puppets".
We had found our hotel without help.
But this is not the only "silly" think i did in Stuttgart!!
After i nice shopping and a good dinner we went back to the hotel. The others divas goes to her rooms - but i go to one of this divas. We wanted to play a craps. We sat down - began to play and at once she asked me: "Sonja, do you know where the venue is?" I said: "Not really, but we will asked" She: "Okay, let's do it promptly!!" I looked at her - puzzled - but okay. It was 9.30pm!!! We asked by the reception where we must go - walked to the underground again, drove to the Martin-Schleyer-Halle. I said to her: "Okay, now we know where we must go tomorrow. Please let us go to bed now - i am really tired!!! She answered: "Oh - now we are here, let's have a look where the stage door is!!" Okay - we walked around the venue - and believe me it was a long way - we find the stage door!! She said: "So, here we must look tomorrow. Now we can go in the hotel!" I was glad because i was sooooooo tired!!!
But we didn't walk back an the left side - no no - we are very clever and walk on the right side. And we walk and walk and walk - and we don't knew where we are - we didn't find the way back!!! And there are no people - no underground - no hotel - no bar - nothing!! And we walk and walk and laugh and laugh and sang "I'm walking - down the street - I'm walking....." Suddenly there came a man we might asked after the right way. He took us to the next underground - and we was back in Hotel at 11.55pm. We walked more than two hours        and the venue is only 15 minuts away from our hotel!!!
Our feets still rankle today!!!!
And now the best: This all for nothing because we hadn't a chance to see the guys before or after the concert!
By the concert the next stupid thing from me. By "Somewhere" Madmaz and i stand up to go to David and Carlos. She went to David - i to Carlos. I gave him a lolly in form of a heart, shook his hand, talked with him - and what happend???? I laid my hand on his knee.     Sorry Carlos!!! But i must explain you: When i like a person - i always must touch this person. But he don't know this!!!!! And his knee was nearly my hand - what can i do - i must lay down my hand here!!!!     But i am really ashamed of this.
So, what can i say more???? Stuttgart was really a special time for me!!!
I thank Regula, Baba, Therese, Madmaz and Vintagechic! It was a great pleasure for me to stay with you there!!!
Also Ursula, it was nice to meet you and your husband!!

Both madmaz and I would like to thank all the German and Swiss divas, Baba, Regula, Sonja, Sonja’s mum, Doris, Therese, Ursula, Julia, Kate, and Cheryl from UK, and everyone else that we met but sorry, both of us are dreadful with names. Both Maz and I would also like to thank everyone for all their kindness, help and guidance, as neither Maz or I can speak one word of German & without them we would still be looking for the hotel in Munich & travelling around the German Railway!!!
Maz and I met at Heathrow Airport, checked in, waited at Departures and boarded the plane. All had gone well until this point. There was a delay with the plane taking off due to a broken backing rod (the bar that attaches to the front of the plane to push it backwards so it can head off down the runway and take off). We waited and waited, seemed like forever (only about 15 minutes).
We arrived at Munich Airport, collected our cases and from there we thought we would ask for help at one of the desks as we were not sure how to get to the city. We asked a man behind a desk, was he helpful - NO HE WASN’T. We asked him if it was quicker to go by train or bus, he eventually said train and after prompting, pointed us in the right direction with a look on his face that would have turned a lemon sour. We went down onto the platform totally unprepared for Germany, no maps, neither of us could speak a word of German!!! We looked at the ticket machine and it wasn’t helping us at all. We were so confused. Maz phoned Astrid and all we could do was laugh!! .Some very kind gentleman hearing our hysterical laughter came to our rescue and told us which buttons to press and hey presto we got tickets. That hurdle over, we then had to catch the train, it came, we got on, we didn’t know if we were on the right train and if we were where we had to get off and a French gentleman told us which station we needed and he got off the train. Another gentleman then told us we were at the station, we would still be sitting on the train if it hadn’t been for him. Beginning to wonder if we should have been let out on our own!!!
Found our way to the fresh air and Maz rang Astrid. We told her where we were but she couldn’t find us. We then went back down and started to find another exit. Astrid kept saying can you see trains and the coca cola exit. Maz kept saying no to both questions!! Turns out we were on different levels of the station!! Then Maz rang saying I can see a flower shop and Astrid saying the same it turned out they were the other side of a booth and neither of us could see each other!! All this had taken us 2 hours - we were weak with laughter.
There was a slight hitch with the concert tickets but all was well in the end thanks to Astrid. Thank you Astrid.
After meeting quite a few divas we had a meal and retired to our room exhausted.
The following morning Maz couldn’t find her keys, the key to her suitcase was on them and she knew she had them the night before to unpack..so we spent the next 2 hours going through each suitcase shaking every single bit of clothing, through each handbag, washbag. I know exactly what meds Maz is taking have seen them about 20 times!!! No keys. I said go to reception and see if they are there, Maz says ‘but I know I had them last night to unlock my case‘, I say go anyway so off she trots and comes back keys in hand saying they found them in the restaurant this morning after breakfast, must have fallen out of her handbag then - OMG I have to spend another 4 days with this woman!!! Lol.. we then went for a walk around the city, not too far and then it was time for the concert. We found our way to the stage door, saw Hayley and spoke to her, a car went by with who we thought was Carlos in it and we can only assume all the guys were in there as we heard them rehearsing a bit later on.
It was time for the concert, Maz, Cheryl and I went inside and decided to buy a poster. Why we bought a poster in Germany is beyond me when we could have bought it in the UK and didn’t have to carry it around Munich and then on to Stuttgart, back to Munich and home on the plane!!!!! Concert madness took over.
The guys were as great as ever, little moment at the beginning of the concert when Urs nearly fell down the steps but recovered admirably. When they sang Somewhere and David sings ‘each careful step along the highway’ he didn’t trip down the stairs but looked at Urs smiling and Urs knew why he was smiling and smiled back.
At the end of the concert we went to the stage door and were rewarded by the guys coming out - actually got autographs - 9 concerts and this is the first time I have managed to get any and meet all the guys - fantastic end to a fantastic day. Steve was saying it was time to go but I shouted to him pleading him to let Seb come to us to sign our booklets and he said OK then - thank you Steve.
Went back to the hotel, packed and off we were taken by Sonja, Regula, Baba and Therese to Stuttgart by train. A little alcohol was consumed supplied by Baba bless her - hysterical laughter all round and somehow we ended up with only us in the carriage!!! Can’t think why!! Found the hotel, settled in and went off to Stuttgart where we had a meal. The following day we again went into Stuttgart, had another meal and met Ursula and her husband.
Got to the concert, met up with Cheryl again and went to the stage door but the guys didn’t stop on the way in and Steve told us they would be out after. Off we went to the concert which was as ever fantastic. We thought our seats weren’t too good but in the end it was all OK, I got a blinky-wink from Urs that I missed (sob sob sob) my fault entirely, I had been looking at him for a long time and couldn’t stand the strain and had to avert my eyes - getting Uber-overload and Maz had a lovely smile from David - well worth sitting where we were.
The poor man sitting next to Maz realised after the first couple of songs that she can go WooooHoooo quite loudly and proceeded to cover his right ear just before each song ended!!! He has since been to have his ear tested and is suing for damages!! We walked around to the stage door again which was quite a distance away but the guys got into a car and didn’t stop.
Neither Maz or I had any sleep that night, hysterical laughter could be heard in Munich from Room 303..Maz said it was payback to the man next door who had kept her awake the night before with his snoring!! we had to get up early to catch the train into Stuttgart and then to Munich and then to the airport. Thank you Sonja for coming with us and making sure we got onto the train, everything from there was fine apart from the fact that we arrived at the airport half an hour before the plane took off - it was a miracle we caught the flight we were supposed to, one of our trains was late and we missed a connecting train by seconds. We sped through Departures, someone that I will not mention practically had to strip to get through security (I wonder who that was then - not me).quote from Maz ‘Note to self.. must remember to unscrew the tin leg, remove the over the shoulder bolder holster made up of more wire than you saw on the Great Escape and of course those enhanced slimming pants!!!’… We got onto the plane and arrived at Heathrow - what a trip. I then caught my coach home which arrived about 20 minutes late but Maz’s coach was about 2.½ hours late and she arrived home exhausted and hungry.
All in all we had an absolutely fantastic experience and again thanks to all the divas we met on our travels.

I've been to the concert last week and it was just amazing.
First of all I have to admit that this was the first concert I've ever been to (what a shame, I know) but there hasn't really been a singer or a band performing in Germany I so badly wanted to see live. Until I found out that Il Divo has this world tour
So my sister and I bought tickets and we got pretty nice seats. 3 1/2 hours of car ride were SO worth it!
I was so nervous all the time right before the concert. When we were finally sitting and it was about to start, I was so excited. Then Hayley Westenra appeard. And really, I found her so annoying. I mean, she may have a beautiful voice, but I didn't really like her songs at all. And it seemed like she just wouldn't stop singing again and I wanted to see Il Divo
But then finally she left the stage and it was the guy's turn. It was SO great seeing them coming in and Regresa A Mi was the perfect opening, I think. I had tears in my eyes
It was all so amazing. Actually I expected their voices not to be as perfect as on the CDs but I was so surprised that live they are even a lot better. Their voices are so powerful and emotional and so clear. Absolutely amazing. I took a lot of photos but most of them didn't turn out that great. It was too dark for my camera I guess
When they were talking about "it's time to say goodbye" I couldn't believe it. Time went by so quickly. It was great that they came back on stage for 2 more songs, Heroe and A Mi Manera. At the end of the concert I was a little said that they didn't sing my favorite song ever which is Hoy Que Ya No Estas Aqui. But at least they sang two of my other favorites, Everytime I Look At You and Passera.
All in all, it was the most amazing thing I've ever witnessed. I wish I could have gone to more than just one concert. I hope they'll come back to Germany as soon as possible. But then I want tickets for seats in the first row
Maybe I'll be posting photos later.

As this section is now being locked down into an archive full of fab memories of the first IL DIVO World tour, there can be no more postings into this thread .... if you do suddenly find any photos of this show that you'd like to be added can you pm one of the mods and we'll edit them into this final post
